2 individual petitions (the prisoner) on behalf of Elizabeth Glanville convicted at Exeter Sessions in April 1824 of theft of linen. Grounds for clemency: 50 years old and has seven children and ten grandchildren. Acknowledges her transgressions and the justness of the sentence against her. Too old to be transported. Has been in the prison of the City of Exeter. Second petition states she is 61 years old and seeks remission of her sentence. Initial sentence: seven years' transportation. Annotated:' 7 convictions rejected 13 August 1824.' MK2
