Description

1 individual petition (prisoner) and 1 collective petition (5 people including Charles Ivens the prosecutor) on behalf of Samuel Saddington convicted at Northampton Summer Assizes of stealing 12 eggs, value 8d, property of Charles Ivens constable. Grounds for clemency: confesses guilt, first offence. Initial sentence: 12 months' imprisonment.
