Folio 45. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Messrs W and E Willoby [William Willoby and Edward Willoby], Clerks to the Guardians of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Poor Law Union acknowledging receipt of their letter of 15 March reporting the division of the union into medical districts, and the salaries of the medical officers for the ensuing year. As it remains impracticable to make all districts conform with the General Medical Order, the Commission sanctions these arrangements and requests that the medical officers' appointments be reported for their approval. Paper number: 3096/A/1845. Poor Law Union Number 325. Counties: Town and County of Berwick-upon-Tweed and Northumberland.
