2 individual petitions (Samuel Wendon, father) and 1 collective petition (6 people of Little Stapleford, Essex, including the prosecutor) on behalf of Thomas Wendon convicted at Essex Quarter Sessions October 1826 for stealing a piece of sail cloth on 16 September 1826 property of Richard Scale, farmer. Gaoler's report: an abandoned character on board Ganymede. Grounds for clemency: prisoner is of good character, is penitent, wife died because of distress of prisoner's first offence leaving 3 small children on the parish, was a comfort to his parents.
