Description

John Clevland. Commissioner Hughes informs us that he has gout so cannot control the payments of the ships. Mr. Bateman and Mr. Dent are ill and Mr. Osborn is attending the payments in Broadstreet. There are no members of the Board who can be sent to Portsmouth. Propose that one of the Masters Attendant, the Clerk of the Cheque and the Clerk of the Survey and the Storekeeper or any two of them may be ordered to attend the payments
