- Raymond Leon states that he has always served the king with his support and counsel, and was one of the messengers who brought him the news that Bordeaux had surrendered to him, and that he has suffered greatly for that allegiance. He requests the office that William Aymerik held, that of hearing the pleas in Bordeaux castle; or if the king does not wish to give him this grace, a letter to the Seneschal and Constable to give him some bailiwick, prevote or castellany where he can serve the king.
