Description

Captain Paddon to Dartmouth: he has consulted with Delavall. He suggests that the tea equipage be presented directly to the emperor rather than to the alcaid of Aliaizer, who has fallen from favour. Gunpowder is no longer such a valued commodity. The alcaid could be given the two pieces of cloth. His hopes for a long truce or a lasting piece. Dated on board Ruby at Lisbon. No. 117
