Nature of request
Raymond Lion of Bordeaux, petitioning on behalf of himself and of Itier de Rocela, as the sons of the daughters of Raymond Macanh, state that the Queen, the mother of the king's father, owed Raymond Macanh when he died £2500 bordelais from a loan he made her. He requests payment of this sum, so that he can pay the debts of Raymond Macanh; and that payment might be assigned to him from the issues of prevotes of the Ile d'Oleron, of the Ombriere in Bordeaux and of Libourne.
