Nature of request
Letter to Richard II, or to his Chancellor and council, from the Archdeacon of London, subordinate and commissary general of Henry, Bishop of Norwich, currently on crusade against the Antipope, stating that Bishop Henry appointed John Kirton of Sandhurst and John Chew of Wokingham, chaplains, as his penitentiaries and collectors of money for the crusade in the cities and dioceses of Winchester and Chichester, and the archdeaconries of Berkshire and Wiltshire in the diocese of Salisbury, and that he has renewed this appointment. He asks the King to send his letters to the appropriate people to aid them in their work.
