Description

John Clevland. On considering Lord Anson's recommendation to hire 3 of the 40-gun ships at Sheerness, to be put into condition for service in the Channel as convoys, propose the Torrington is fitted at Sheerness, the Launceston sent to Chatham for fitting and the Penzance should be fitted at Woolwich. Some of the people from whom the Greenland boats were purchased need their money
