Nature of request
The Friars Minor of Worcester make three requests:1) They state that the King granted at Langley that they could make free use of the gate towards the town, as they had in the time of his father and grandfather, and a writ was sent to the burgesses of Worcester on this, but nothing has been done. They request the King's charter for this.2) They ask that they might be able to enclose their house with a palisade or other boundary, for its security.3) They ask for full guard of their ditch insofar as it lies within the bounds of their house, so that the burgesses do not meddle with it and harass them, as they have done in the past.
Nature of endorsement
The King's Escheator is to be ordered to go in person to the aforesaid place and to see that place; and if it is necessary he is to inquire to what harm, etc., and he is to inform the King.
