"The Handley-Page Hampden is another veteran and a hero of hundreds of raids against the enemy. She is now used successfully as a torpedo bomber and mine-layer. With two Bristol Pegasus engines, she can travel at a maximum speed of 265 m.p.h. Her curious flat shape has given her the nickname 'the Flying Suitcase'."
