"British Bombers."
"Already a veteran, but still in constant use by Bomber Command is the Vickers Armstrong Wellington, Mark II, fitted with two Rolls Royce Merlin engines. This famous aircraft has a maximum speed of about 270 m.p.h., and a maximum range of over 3,000 miles. She is powerfully armed with nose and tail turrets and will go down to history as one of the great aeroplanes of the war. The bomb-like object on top of the fuselage is the radio direction finder."
