Description

"British Bombers."

"The Handley-Page Halifax is the second of Britain's great trio of heavies. Maximum bomb load is about 5½ tons, range nearly 3,000 miles; she is powered with four Rolls Royce Merlins. Her speed is nearly 3,000 m.p.h., span 99 feet, and armament three power-operated turrets."
