The petitioners show that in several counties many lords and many of the commons have woods appurtenant to their manors that adjoin the king's forests, and they seek the right to take profits from these woods and to hunt therein at will without being impeached or hindered by the wardens of the king's forests, as lately granted by King Edward the king's grandfather, which grant has still not been established.
