- The petitioner asks that his appeal be heard before the king's court. He states that he was empleaded before Amaury St Amand against Raymund Bydan, [...] and the same Amaury, to the exchange of the market in Bordeaux, the house of the sub-mayor and lieutenant, Roscauly (citizen of Bordeaux), of which matters Amaneu Columbe, for all those of his house and his other friends, appealed and was summoned before the king, which the sub-mayor would not have. And because the petitioner is an aid to Amaneu and his house, an order was required to the seneschal of Gascony and the mayor of Bordeaux that proceedings were contrary to the law etc.
