- The petitioners seek authorisation for the passage of their new wine to Bordeaux for sale. They state that they helped plant and make new wine in their town, which has not yet been taken to Bordeaux, and that the king takes thought to the customs due for the wine: 5s. for each tun and 4d. for each small cask, according to the authorisation granted to the towns of Cotentin from the king of France.
