- Richard, Earl of Arundel and Surrey, states that his lordships of Bromfield and Yale have been attacked by malefactors from the county of Chester; and that, although the King summoned them to appear before his council on 19 November last, they did not do so, and have not let up their attacks. As they cannot be punished without an ordinance of the King, he requests a remedy, both for the trespasses and for the contempt.
