- The bishop shows that Bishop Bek bought the manor of Wark from Balliol but was subsequently ejected by Edward I when he was attending the court of Rome. Bishop Beaumont established his right but the king had granted the manor to Darcy who in turn enfeoffed the queen. The bishop requests justice and remedy.
