Description

Land and House Tax amendment bill: protests by members of the legislative assembly. Forwards letters from William Hepburn Rennie, lieutenant governor of St Vincent, dated 26 and 28 March and 4 April 1874; letter from William Smith, elective member of the legislature, addressed to the secretary of state; printed petition signed by William Smith; printed statements signed by William Smith, James G Coull, H P Shearman, Robert S Cheesman and J T Waith; two statements by the attorney general, James C Choppin; and a printed message from Rennie to the legislative assembly.
