Folio 177: Swann to Bennet. Had unsatisfactory interim reply from senate regarding company's affairs: they are 'privately moved', even with support from some of English company, to deny whatever he should propose to be redressed for the company in general, adding that they would find friends in England 'to abbet their proceedings', but will give their final answer, which should satisfy the King and content the company. Imperial ambassador to Sweden [count Windischgraetz] told him, Swann, that Sweden has granted Emperor 4,000 men against Turks, with promise to pay them; he had to cut short his stay in Sweden upon news from Vienna that an 'incredible' Turkish army was ready to march into Hungary, thus he was hastening back to Ratisbon; imperial army marching to K"niggraetz for 'rendezvous' there on Mar. 29 N.S.; Brandenburg fieldmarshal Sparr has gone to Ratisbon, he may be promoted general of imperial army.
