Description

Folio 307: Harcourt to Rochford. Little reason to expect an armistice between Russia and Turkey. France has tried to prevent one. She is anxious to curb Prussian gains in Poland and has urged Austria to take action. A Russian called Saldan, a friend of Panin, has come from England to the French court for 3 or 4 months.
