Folio 137: Naryskin to [?Carteret]. Swedish frigate of 24 guns called L'Ulrich, arrived at Revel 24 Oct. with 122 men aboard. Captain said they were one of several vessels which after the capitulation left Finland for Sweden but because of bad weather and lack of food were obliged to have respite in that port. But as there were inconsistencies in his report and 2 months had passed since the capitulation, it was judged best to hold him until it could be better clasified. Dated London, 6 Dec 1742. French.
