Folio 16: Carteret to Wich. Behaviour of Prince Scerbatov who has recently left here has given great satisfaction to all, especially HM His mentioned to Naryskin who will report of his merit to Czarina and also to Messrs. Bestuzev and Lestock. Cultivate friendship of Hungarian and Prussian ministers in Russian court and act in concert with them, particularly regarding the Czarina's accession to the treaty between Queen of Hungary and King of Prussia. Dated Whitehall, 6 Aug 1742.
