Folio 94: Finch to Harrington. Suhm ill at Polangen in Courland. Taken to Memmel, now wishes leave to meet Polish king at Warsaw; no possibility at Dresden. Will go through Poland to Berlin. Accounts of various transactions of foreigners viz. Chetardie, Count Beauveau and Marshal Biron. Delays on my negotiation are confirmed as owing to Count Osterman who because of his dilatoriness, is on worse terms with duke of Courland than ever before. Some objections to some points examined in the Cabinet, and Czarina desires conference to explain and remove them. No news of Saxon secret article. Dated St Petersburg 17 Sept 1740.
