Folio 184: Whitworth to Stanhope. Rothembourg's reports of Ilgen's anger and threats after the breaking of negotiations; Whitworth ascribes this to Bonnet's work. Kniphausen's interpretation of the king's behaviour and opinions, including the likelihood of his accepting the 7th article under certain conditions (copy enclosed). Whitworth's opinion of the conditions. Whitworth will describe his revealing audience with the king when he sees Stanhope. From Berlin
