Description

Short title: Reade v Wigg.

Plaintiffs: Andrew Reade, esq.

Defendants: William Wigg, parson of Faccombe, Edmund Gyles, husbandman, his son-in-law, Ralph Whistler, manciple in Lincoln College, Oxford, Hugh Whistler, minister, and others.

Subject: Conspiracy to prove that the said William Wigg's presentation was simoniacal so as to deprive plaintiff Andrew Reade of his right of presentation.

Hampshire.

Another action was also brought before the Chancery.
