Grant by brother Ralph called the abbot of Mirevall, and the convent there, to the nuns of Kateby, of lands in Great Esseby, a tillage on Warhthou, a tillage extending by Aylthmesty, a tillage of which one end extends towards Osberneswelle, part ofa tillage extending by Bradwelle, and land on Neddrewong stretching to Eychul, in exchange for all the lands on Neddrewong stretching to Eychul, in exchange for all the lands which the said nuns had on Shepehusflatte in Esseby, between Shardelowe and Pethling, with other land which Robert, vicar of Esseby, held from them, which lands the said nuns held in A. D. 1242, at the time when king Henry the son of king John crossed the sea into Gascony. Witnesses: - William Malherbe of Dunton, Robert de Mont' of Morton, and others (named): [Leicestershire.]
