Two letters regarding the office of deputy lieutenant and commissioner of the peace in Kent, Lincoln, and Northampton. A letter to James from the Earl of Winchilsea and Nottingham stating that he is resigning as deputy lieutenant and commissioner of the peace in Kent, Lincoln and Northampton; a letter to the Earl from J Graham approving the resignation.
