Description

Indenture witnessing tha whereas Thomas de Kestevene, armourer, of London, has purchased of Hugh le benere two messuages in the parish of St. Margert Lothbury, for 9 1/2 years from the present date, which are charged with a yearly rent of 13s. 9d. to the prior of Holy Trinity, London, which rent is above 100s. in arrear, the said Thomas undertakes to pay 40s. of the arrears to the said prior, and the rent of 13s. 9d. yearly.
