Dated 26 March 1569. Receipt by John Pickarde, clerk, parson of Brockhall [Northamptonshire], for £4 paid by Mr. Robert Coungletton for a half-year's rent for the parsonage of Brockhall, due last Lady Day. Dated 26 March 1579. Receipt by John Pickarde, clerk, parson of Brockhall [Northamptonshire], for £4 paid by Mr. Robert Coungletton for a half-year's rent for the parsonage of Brockhall, due next Michaelmas. Dated 24 August 1579. [Dorse:] 'I would have you so to use me now even as you do mean to have me your friend here after.'
