The master, pilots, and seamen of the Trinity House of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Jonathan Hindmer, Robert Read, John Jefferson, Robert Bayliffe, John Welford, Mattw. Newton. v. John Angel, son and heir of Justinian Angel, "one of the defts.": "Lights or lighthouses upon the Spurne head or point or Spurne Island, at the mouth of the river Humber, commonly called the Spurne Lights," erected by and lately belonging to Justinian Angell (defendant's late father). Yearly value, &c. Annuity or rentcharge [of 40l.] granted upon said premises to plaintiffs by the said Justinian in consideration (as they allege) of the assistance he received from said corporation by which he was enabled to get a patent for erecting said lighthouses. Allowances (claimed by defendants) for taxes to be deducted from said annuity. [See also 2 Anne, East., No. 31, and 2 Anne, Trin., No. 10.]: Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
