John Caldwell v. Joshua Jennings and Ellen Jennings, spinster (an infant), by said Joshua, her guardian and next friend.: Right and title to land called "Hill Cliffe." Touching the signing, sealing, &c., of two indentures of "grant or assignment;" one between Margaret Jennings (late mother of the defendants) and the plaintiff John Caldwell, of a parcel of ground called Hill Cliff, situate in Appleton (Chester), late in said Margaret's possession; the other between John Caldwell, of Appleton (Chester), tanner, and Daniel Lawton, of Prescott (Lancaster), gent., of said parcel of ground "heretofore in the possession of said John Caldwell." Touching the estate of said Margaret Jennings, &c., &c.: Lancaster; Chester.
