Description

Short title: Hodgson v Skelton.

Plaintiff(s): Peter Hodgson.

Defendant(s): John Skelton.

Subject of depositions: Lands, called Thouthwaite demesnes? and the Dean and Chapter of Carlisle, and a lease granted by said Dean, to Prudence Alixander (since married to John Pattison) of the tithes, growing upon said demesnes, and the assignment by them of said lease to plaintiff. Tithes. [Richard Skelton (defendant's grandfather) is mentioned].

County/place: Cumberland.

Date of commission: 5 July 1693.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 4 October 1693 at Penrith.
