Description

Short title: Cotton v Hay.

Plaintiff(s): Susannah Cotton, widow.

Defendant(s): Thomas Hay, Christopher Reeve, John Blackall, John Reeve.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to messuages, in the parishes of Hempsted and Northchurch, in Hertford, lately belonging to Henry Mayne, late of Bovingden (Hertfordshire), plaintiff's late brother, deceased, uncle to defendant Hay, son and heir of Ann Hay, another sister of the said Henry Mayne.

County/place: Hertford.

Date of commission: 28 November 1692.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 21 December 1692 at Hemelhempsted.
