John Curson and one Humfrey Yeo of theherbage and land inclosed of the castle of Exeter [parcel of the possessions of the Dutchy of Cornwall], unto the plts. Sir Peter Brideaux, Sir Bourchier Wray, Sir Hugh Acland, Henry Northleigh, and Sir Stapleton Bampfield (since deceased). ", "Was the estate and term therein mentioned purchased with the publique money or stock belonging to the said county of Devon, and the said grant made to the said p'sons being then Deputy Livetents of the said county in trust for the publique use, and was the purchase money really payd?" etc. Also touching a lease made to the defendants of the herbage of the land inclosed of the said castle to commence after the said plaintiff's terme.
