Description

Short title: Lucy v Peers.

Plaintiff(s): George Lucy.

Defendant(s): Thomas Peers.

Subject of depositions: Manor of Hampton Lucy alias Bishops Hampton (Warwickshire), of which the plaintiff is lord, and the manor of Alveston in defendant's possession. Touching the right of fishing in the river Avon, and particularly touching the ownership, of a certain water called "the Backwater, being the back river lying between "Alveston Fletcher, or the place where that Fletcher now is, and Alveston Ford" etc.

County/place: Warwickshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1692.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 24 January 1693 at Hampton Lucy alias Bishops Hampton.
