Description

Short title: Attorney General v Greenwood.

Plaintiff(s): The Attorney General, at the relation of the mayor, bailiffs, and burgesses of Liverpool, and John Hodgson.

Defendant(s): Augustine Greenwood, John Bryer.

Subject of depositions: Burrough, port, or haven and corporation of Liverpool. Metes and bounds. Customs, etc. Touching the liability or not of the freemen of Lancaster to pay "towne duty" or "towne custom" to the collector of said corporation.

County/place: Lancashire.

Date of commission: 15 June 1692.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 19 September 1692 at Liverpool and 13 October 1692 at Preston.
