Description

Short title: Drinkwater v Buxton.

Plaintiff(s): Abigail Drinkwater, widow, Ann Buxton, Mary Buxton, Ellen Buxton, Martha Buxton, Rachel Buxton, Lydia Buxton.

Defendant(s): John Buxton, Robert Brown, administrators of William Millett, deceased.

Subject of depositions: Last will and testament of Michael Buxton (first husband of the plaintiffAbigail), and his family by said Abigail, vizt. Robert Buxton, Michael Buxton, Francis Buxton, Phineas Buxton, Theophilus Buxton, and his daughter (married to one Warburton), and the estate of said Michael Buxton (first husband of the plaintiff), including a messuage, burgage, or dwelling-house situate in the Markettstead Lane in Manchester, wherein the said testator dwelled.

County/place: Lancashire.

Date of commission: 15 June 1692.
