Short title: Chilton v Dodsworth.

Plaintiff(s): Elizabeth Chilton, widow, late the wife of Thomas Chilton, of Seaton Carew, in the parish of Stranton, in the county palatine of Durham, yeoman, and Mary Chilton, Robert Chilton, Elizabeth Chilton, and Jane Chilton (son and daughters of said Thomas Chilton and said Elizabeth his widow), (infants), by said Elizabeth Chilton, their mother, and next friend and guardian.

Defendant(s): John Dodsworth, of Watlas (Yorkshire).

Subject of depositions: Estate, debts, of Thomas Chilton, of Seaton Carew (Durham), including a farm and tithes in Seaton (Durham).

County/place: Durham.

Date of commission: 1 July 1691.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 9 October 1691 at Seaton.
