Description

Short title: Atkinson v Atkinson.

Plaintiff(s): John Atkinson.

Defendant(s): Edward Atkinson.

Subject of depositions: Legacy of £100 claimed by the plaintiff as having been bequeathed to his father Lawrence Atkinson in the will of William Atkinson (plaintiff's grandfather). In answer to which claim the defendant pleads a release under the hand of said Lawrence and a set-off in having for some time maintained said Lawrence and his family.

County/place: Lincolnshire.

Date of commission: 12 February 1690.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 30 April 1690 at Alford.
