Subject of depositions: Legacy of £100 claimed by the plaintiff as having been bequeathed to his father Lawrence Atkinson in the will of William Atkinson (plaintiff's grandfather). In answer to which claim the defendant pleads a release under the hand of said Lawrence and a set-off in having for some time maintained said Lawrence and his family.
