Description

Short title: Earl of Mulgrave v Boynton.

Plaintiff(s): The Rt Hon John Earl of Mulgrave, the Hon. George Lord Carteret, Barron of Hawne, Lord of the manor of Epworth, in the Isle of Axholme, in Lincoln (an infant), by the Rt Hon John Earl of Bath, his prochein amie, Robert Ryther, the elder,and others [See 1 and 2 James 2. Hilary No.25.].

Defendant(s): Sir John Boynton, kt, one of His Majesty's Sergeants at Law, William Marwood, John Hatfield, Mark Vanvalkenburgh, John Harvey, Nathaniel Reading, William Simpson, Henry Meires, Elizabeth Bradborn, widow.

Subject of depositions: "Manor of Epworth in the Isle of Axholme, in Lincoln, and the lands, waste grounds, carrs or commonable grounds lying or reputed to be lying within said manor" etc. [See 1 and 2 Hilary (James 2), Number 25].
