Subject of depositions: Manor house or capital messuage, called the Hall of Bamferlong, a water corn-mill and lands, belonging, situate in Abraham, Ince, Hindley, and Wigan, formerly belonging to Richd Ashton, deceased, and lately belonging to his daughter Mary Ashton, deceased. Touching the employment by Mary of Henry Gerard (a solicitor) (defendant's late father) to assist in paying her father's debts, and his getting the premises into his own possession by various dishonest contrivances.
