Subject of depositions: Rectory and parish of Drax, and the farms in the parish called Drax Abbies, Combleforth Grange, and Sommer Croft Farm and Brockhalls Farm, now or late in the tenures of Isaac Decowe, Jacob Decowe, Edward Atkinson, Thomas Akers, and defendant Jessop. Whether such farms were parcel of the possessions of the late dissolved abbey of Drax, and therefore (as "abbey land ") exempted from the payment of tithes. Tithes.
