Description

Short title: Morrett v Marwood.

Plaintiff(s): Richd Morrett and his wife Jane, executrix of the last will and testament of Edward Loftus, deceased.

Defendant(s): Henry Marwood.

Subject of depositions: Edward Loftus, deceased, who acted as under-sheriff of York to defendant when defendant was high sheriff of the county. Touching the execution of such office by Edward, and an arbitration of the accounts between Jane (as executrix) and the defendant.

County/place: Yorkshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1678.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 8 January 1679 at York.
