"The Councell appointed Sir Edward Thurland, now one of the Barons of the Exchequer, and Thomas Dalmahoy, esq, to receive the profits of the same." Repair of "navigable river" in 1659 "by Mr Impey and Mr Forbenth." [A lease of "said river and soyle thereof" in Stoke next Guildford, "and of two mills called Stoke Mills, in Stoke" made by Sir George Stoughton (10 May, 16 James I), and possession taken thereof by Sir Henry Massingberd (the rent reserved being in arrear), is mentioned].
