Description

Short title: Attorney General v Harbin.

Plaintiff(s): Sir Jeffery Palmer, kt and bart (Attorney General).

Defendant(s): John Harbin, Robert Harbin, Richard Savage, Thomas Merry, Robert Angell, Lancelot Welsh.

Subject of depositions: Fire which took place in the town of Milton Abbas on the 4th August 1658. Touching the collecting of money in England to assist the sufferers by the fire. In what proportion and how was such money distributed. Also touching the market house and vicarage house there burnt down in the fire, and belonging to John Tregonwell, of Milton Abbas, deceased.

County/place: Dorset.

Date of commission: 28 November 1667.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 16 January 1668 at Milton Abbas.
