Description

Short title: Attorney General v Lains.

Plaintiff(s): Attorney General, and George Rooks, His Majesty's searcher in the Port of Sandwich (Kent).

Defendant(s): Peter Lains, Nicholas Budier, the younger, John Harris, Lawrence Brown.

Subject of depositions: "Certain contempts and misdemeanours by def'ts committed in "rescuing goods seised and assaulting his Ma'ty's said searcher "and his deputies in execuc'on of His Ma'ty service. ".

County/place: Kent.

Date of commission: 15 May 1643.
