Description

Short title: Attorney General v Sheldon.

Plaintiff(s): Sir John Banks, kt (Attorney - General), by the relation of Francis Stewart, son to the late Earl of Bothwell, deceased.

Defendant(s): William Sheldon, Thomas Combe, William Barnes, Thomas Child, Robert Tupper, Anthony Langston, Thomas Lumbrick.

Subject of depositions: Right and title to Blockley Park lands in Northwick in the parish of Blockley (Worcestershire), the manor of Treddington. Touching also the bishopric of Worcester, John Throgmorton, Thomas Savage, Roger Lopez.

County/place: Gloucestershire; Worcestershire.

Date of commission: 13 June 1638.
