Description

Short title: Lenne v Alford.

Plaintiff(s): Andrew Lenne, clerk, vicar of the parish of Cricklade St Sampson.

Defendant(s): William Alford, vicar of Pirton, and Robert Nicholson, clerks, John Goodriche, Christopher Heyward, Thomas Hawkes, John Telling.

Subject of depositions: Lands called "Powcher's Ragg" and "Kaynes Ragg" the forest of Braydon, the parishes of Pirton, Chelworth, and Cricklade St Sampson. Metes and bounds. Perambulation. Tithes, etc.

County/place: Wiltshire.

Date of commission: 28 November 1637.

Additional information: interrogatories and depositions taken 28 December 1637 at Cricklade.
